Most electrical problems give little warning before they become dangerous. Insulation degrades inside walls, connections loosen over years of heating and cooling, and protective devices can fail without anyone noticing. A safety inspection uses proper test equipment to find these issues before they cause a fire, a shock or an expensive breakdown.
We inspect and test the distribution board, protective devices, earthing and bonding, insulation resistance, polarity and the condition of sockets, switches and fittings. RCDs are tested to confirm they trip quickly enough to protect people. We also look for overloaded circuits, signs of overheating and unsafe alterations.
You receive a written report that explains our findings in plain language and groups recommendations by urgency: dangerous issues that need immediate attention, issues that should be fixed soon, and improvements to consider. Inspections are ideal when buying or renting a property, after renovation work, or if your installation has not been checked for several years.
Know what you are taking on before you sign, or meet your duty of care as a landlord.
Regular testing catches gradual deterioration before it becomes dangerous.
Confirm that new and altered circuits are safe and correctly protected.
Protect staff, customers and equipment with documented, periodic testing.
Make sure no hidden damage remains after a major fault, storm or water leak.
Frequent tripping or odd behaviour you can't explain deserves a proper test.
