24/7 Emergency Electrical Repair

Sparks, smoke, a dead circuit or a breaker that won’t stay on. Call any hour and a qualified electrician will make it safe, find the cause and fix it properly.
●  OVERVIEW

Fast Response Without Cutting Corners

An electrical emergency is stressful because it is unpredictable. One moment everything works; the next you smell burning plastic or half the building goes dark. Our emergency service exists for exactly those moments. When you call, we ask a few targeted questions so we understand the risk, then talk you through simple steps to keep everyone safe while an electrician travels to you.

On arrival, the first priority is making the installation safe. We isolate the affected circuits, check for heat damage and prove what is live and what is not. Only then do we start tracing the fault. Because our vans carry breakers, RCDs, sockets, switches, cable and connectors, most emergency repairs are completed on the first visit. If a specialist part is needed, we leave everything safe and return with it as soon as possible.

Before we leave, every repaired circuit is tested and switched back on with you present. You get a plain explanation of what failed, why it failed, and whether anything else needs attention soon.

●  WHEN TO CALL

Signs You Need an Emergency Electrician

Burning Smell

A hot plastic or fishy smell near sockets, switches or the board usually means overheating insulation. Switch off and call.

Sparks or Arcing

Visible sparks when plugging in or switching on point to loose or damaged connections that can ignite nearby materials.

Breaker Won't Reset

A breaker or RCD that trips instantly after reset is detecting a real fault. Forcing it back on is dangerous.

Shocks or Tingles

A tingle from a tap, appliance or metal fitting suggests a missing earth or live fault. Stop using it immediately.

Water Near Wiring

Leaks into ceiling lights, switch boxes or the board create shock and short-circuit risks. Isolate and call.

Buzzing or Crackling

Noise from the board, sockets or switches often means arcing inside. It needs testing before it gets worse.

●  QUESTIONS

Emergency Repair Questions

Still unsure? Call us and talk to an electrician directly. There is no charge for advice on the phone.
It depends on the time of day, traffic and how many emergencies are in progress. We give you an honest arrival estimate when you call and update you if anything changes.
If you smell burning, see sparks or any part is hot to the touch, and you can reach the main switch safely without touching anything wet or damaged, yes. If you are unsure, tell us on the phone and we will guide you.
Once is fine. If it trips again immediately or within minutes, leave it off. Repeated resetting can overheat damaged cable and turn a small fault into a fire.
Our aim is a permanent repair on the first visit. If a temporary make-safe is the only option, for example while a special part is ordered, we tell you clearly and return to finish the job.
